Greys Compuesto (b. 1986) works across performance and new media formats in exploring cultural tensions brought by themes that relate to the body such as gender social constructs, the idea of home as a living thing, and the intervention of technology in human activities. Compuesto examines the use of different mediums and their supposed functions in protecting, negotiating, and betraying human relationships. As a designer, she worked as an art director and visual merchandiser for almost a decade and was repeatedly awarded with the Overall Best in Visual Merchandising Excellence Award by The Ayala Merchants Rewards. From 2014-2016, Compuesto studied Traditional Puppetry in P4TK Seni dan Budaya and Batik Art at Indonesia Institute of the Arts through the  Darmasiswa KBRI Scholarship. She is the co-founder of KLMTW and actively collaborates and co-runs initiatives in her hometown of Cebu such as XO?, Luyo_Space, and Vice-Versa Art Projects. She received her BFA in Painting from the University of the Philippines, Cebu, where she also teaches as part of the undergraduate faculty and as assistant curator at the institution's José T. Joya Gallery.
