Luis Hidalgo (b. 1995) primarily works with video installations that challenge the viewer’s perspective on how images are consumed. Often, he experiments by breaking the rules of composition in filmmaking, thus presenting different ways to introduce overlooked narratives. His recent works explore micro-histories to understand the past and speculate the future. He received his degree in Digital Filmmaking at the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.
