Angela Silva (b. 1955) is a printmaker and cyanotype artist who lives and works in Negros, Philippines. She had recently moved back to her home province after living in the United States for decades. Many of her works highlight personal narratives tied to issues of migration and labor. Her prints are often regarded as introspections of lives and human relations caught between socio-political conditions.

Her installation Play with Printmaking consists of a 3D printed printmaking press and tools. Collectors who will acquire the work will have the option to participate in either in an online workshop with Silva or a two-night stay at the artist’s home and studio in Negros*, where Silva will host an exclusive printmaking workshop with the collectors. Play with Printmaking forays into relational aesthetics to re-define the relationship of artists and collectors beyond the acquisition of objects in a time when modes of interaction were radically altered due to the pandemic.
